NYS Sheep & Wool Festival at Rhinebeck
We'll have some surprises for you at the Rhinebeck show, Oct. 17th and 18th. The first we can announce is that J-Knits will be dying a special yarn exclusively for us that we'll introduce at this show. It will be beautiful autumn colors, in keeping with the season and we'll show pictures as soon as we get them..

• Our own in-house potter, John Clark, has designed and made a new batch of Seaport Yarn Pots. We have new stock of the colors tenmoku, shino stone, celadon and his new design, pictured below, Lambkin.

• Knitter's Circle - sit, knit, crochet, talk and eat goodies - Just for the fun of it. Wednesday nights from 5:00-8:00pm.

• The first Saturday of every month is our time for charity knitting. Come by and help a good cause: afghans for Afghans - a humanitarian and educational people-to-people project that sends hand-knit and crocheted blankets and sweaters, vests, hats, mittens, and socks to the beleaguered people of Afghanistan. You're welcome to come to our store, knit, congregate and chitchat. Call for more details.
